In March 2008, one of our most dedicated and devoted Missionaries Ms. Patricia Pippin was on route home from her job, when she was met with a near fatal accident. As she was rushed to St. Margaret Hospital the Emergency Room team worked on her intensely until it was determined that they did not have the means, and equipment to handle her case. They transported her to a Facility that could accomadate her case.
Upon her arrival at St. James Hospital Trauma Center in Olympia Fields, Illinois, it was stated that she coded out on them while undergoing treatment. They were able to stabilize her, and she stayed in their ICU Unit for several days on life support. As she began approaching the time limit for being on life support it was determined that they would attempt to wean her. Upon trying to do that, it was mandatory that they get consent from her family. As her family and Dr. Ray Williams & Dr. Veronica Williams stood around her bed in constant intercessory prayer, anointing her with oil as the Scripture proclaims. Upon taking Ms. Pippin off of life support she coded again but through the miracle working power of God and those prayers, she was brought back to life again. She had to again be put back on life support. After much prayer and fasting and family discussion with the doctors it was voiced again the sense of urgency in regards to her being weaned off of life support . Upon doing so, they didn't give much hope of breathing on her own, but as they tried it once again she coded, and once again thru prayer was brought back
Finally, it was determined that the only means for her to survive would be to insert a treachea in her neck. The Church and Family Prayed, and To God be the Glory! She is now here breathing on her own; no life support, no treachea, and praising God for His wonder working power in restoring her life to her. The following photos were taken, of her in a before and after sequence.
